Internet of Things has found its way into everyday life. IoT-related technologies are widely used (e.g. in vehicles, household appliances or multimedia gadgets), however, this also brings potential dangers, since IoT device software can contain security gaps.

CI Fuzz project by Code Intelligence is focused on providing a solution for vulnerability discovery in software. The applied dynamic testing/fuzzing approach is not new, however, it has been difficult to apply without security expertise. The solution developed by Code Intelligence enables developers without IT security experience to apply the advanced feedback-based fuzzing solution for testing their source code.

The German Federal Ministry of Education and research assigned an 800.000€ grant for Code Intelligence for its research in the field of automated security tests with fuzzing technology.
